This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by Nanomite Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us") through the CalBox platform at calbox.in and the CalBox mobile application.
1. Free Demo
CalBox offers a free demo period for new registrations (currently 5 days with up to 5 callers). During the demo period:
- No payment is required
- You can explore all features of the platform
- No cancellation is needed — the demo simply expires if you choose not to subscribe
- No charges are applied if you do not add funds or subscribe
2. Prepaid Balance & Billing
CalBox operates on a prepaid balance model:
- You add funds (top-up) to your account balance
- Daily charges are deducted based on the number of active callers at the applicable rate
- You can view your balance and billing history from the admin panel at any time
Important: Since CalBox uses a pay-as-you-go prepaid model, you are only charged for the days your callers are active. There are no long-term commitments or lock-in periods.
3. Refund Policy
Eligible for Refund:
- Unused Balance: If you have unused prepaid balance remaining in your account at the time of cancellation, you may request a refund of the unused amount
- Service Outage: If the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to issues on our end (excluding scheduled maintenance), you may request a credit or refund for the affected period
- Duplicate Payment: If you are charged twice for the same top-up due to a payment gateway error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full
- Technical Error: If charges are incorrectly deducted due to a platform error, the incorrect amount will be reversed
Not Eligible for Refund:
- Balance already consumed (charges for active caller-days that have been used)
- Accounts terminated due to violation of Terms and Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy
- Dissatisfaction with the Service after the free demo period (we encourage thorough evaluation during the demo)
- Charges incurred due to the account holder's failure to deactivate callers or manage their account
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send an email to mail@calbox.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered company name, email address, and the reason for the refund
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your CalBox subscription at any time:
- Self-Service: Deactivate all callers from your admin panel to stop daily charges immediately
- Account Closure: Email us at mail@calbox.in to request complete account closure
- No cancellation fees or penalties apply
- Upon cancellation, any remaining balance is eligible for refund as described above
Tip: If you want to pause temporarily, simply deactivate your callers. Your account, data, campaigns, and leads will remain intact. Reactivate anytime to resume operations.
6. Account Data After Cancellation
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after account closure to allow for reactivation if needed
- After 30 days, all account data will be permanently deleted as per our Privacy Policy
- You may request a data export before account closure by contacting support
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. Changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. The updated policy will apply to all future transactions.
